The sun is shining on my garden this morning. After two days of rain, the flowers will be bursting with new blooms. That means it is a good idea to deadhead the old blooms. Deadheading prevents a plant from producing seed, encouraging it to put out more blooms. I cannot deadhead my garden without fond memories of Morticia Addams.
